The fifth female billionaire from Russia appeared on the Forbes list


Entrepreneur Tatiana Volodina has become the fifth Russian woman to be ranked as a billionaire by Forbes magazine. Volodina owns the company Alcor and Co., which manages the L'Etoile and Druzhka networks. The list was published on Tuesday, April 1, on the magazine's website.
According to the latest rating of the publication, its capital is $1.1 billion.
The wealthiest Russian woman on the Forbes list remains Tatiana Kim ($4.6 billion), who heads the combined company Wildberries and Russ.
Besides her, the list of the richest women in the world from Russia includes Lyudmila Kogan, the main shareholder of Uralsib ($1.3 billion), Elena Baturina, president of Inteco Management ($1.3 billion), and Ekaterina Fedun, a shareholder of Lukoil ($1.1 billion).
Earlier, on April 1, Forbes published a world ranking of billionaires, according to which the United States regained first place. The list of 3028 richest people on the planet includes 902 Americans.
