A child died after falling from the third floor in the Leningrad region.

A one-and-a-half-year-old child died on April 1 after he fell out of a third-floor window in the city of Sertolovo, Leningrad region.

"Before the ambulance arrived, the baby was still alive, but soon died from his injuries. He fell on his back," a source told Izvestia.

It is reported that at the time of the fall, the parents were not watching the child, because they went out to smoke. Investigators are working with them now.

On March 31, a three-year-old child died after falling from an apartment window on the fifth floor in Sochi. According to the investigation, the child fell out of the window of the apartment, which was located on the fifth floor of the house in Rachmaninov Lane. The boy died of his injuries at the scene. Earlier that day, it was reported that a three-year-old child had fallen from the second floor of a multi-storey building in Feodosia.
