Measles outbreak reaches 422 cases in Texas


In the US state of Texas, the measles outbreak has reached 422 cases. This was announced on Tuesday, April 1, by the ABC News portal.
According to the newspaper, 22 new cases have been confirmed in the last five days. The majority of cases (169) are among children and adolescents aged five to 17 years.
"According to the Texas Department of Public Health (DSHS), almost all cases have been reported in unvaccinated individuals or in individuals whose vaccination status is unknown. At least 42 people have been hospitalized at the moment," the article says.
