Private Komarov destroyed two machine-gun crews and an AFU FPV drone

Guard Private Viktor Komarov, as part of a howitzer self-propelled artillery battery, performed combat missions in artillery support of Russian motorized rifle units. The Russian Ministry of Defense on Wednesday, April 2, reported on the exploits of Russian servicemen committed in the area of a special military operation (SVO).

The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) attempted an offensive, Komarov's calculation joined the battle. A private guardsman destroyed two machine-gun crews and a large number of enemy infantry. In addition, during the reloading of the weapon, Komarov noticed an approaching enemy FPV drone. With an accurate shot of their standard-issue weapon, the soldier shot down an enemy drone.

The Russian Defense Ministry also noted the competent and decisive actions of Private Kirill Ponomarev, who, as part of a group of Russian servicemen, carried out tasks to storm the Ukrainian Armed Forces stronghold. On the way to opornik, a group of Russian soldiers came under artillery fire. Ponomarev quickly got his bearings and organized the group's shelter from enemy fire. A private provided first aid to two wounded Russian servicemen and ensured their evacuation to a hospital.

When the shelling ended, Ponomarev and his group secretly penetrated behind enemy lines and eliminated some of the equipment and personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The enemy was forced to retreat, and the stronghold came under the control of Russian military personnel.

Earlier, on April 1, the Russian Defense Ministry reported that Private Alexander Zakhlebin, as part of the unit, carried out the task of capturing the AFU stronghold and destroyed two enemy drones.
