US President Donald Trump will consider the final proposal for the TikTok social network, owned by the Chinese company ByteDance, on Wednesday, April 2. This was reported on April 1 by CBS News TV channel, citing sources.

It is specified that the administration of the head of state has almost completed the development of plans for potential investors. As indicated, it probably includes the American corporation Oracle and the investment company Blackstone.

According to the newspaper, Trump has set a deadline of April 5 for ByteDance to sell the American segment of the app, otherwise the United States will ban the use of TikTok in the country.

On February 4, Trump created a U.S. wealth fund for the possible purchase of TikTok.

On January 25, the American leader said he was in talks with several people about buying TikTok and would probably decide on the future of the popular app within the next 30 days. At the same time, shortly before that, NPR radio reported that the White House was negotiating for Oracle and investors to take control of TikTok.
