Zelensky confirmed his readiness for an unconditional ceasefire

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky confirmed his readiness to conclude an unconditional ceasefire with Russia. He made the corresponding statement on April 1 during a joint press conference with German Foreign Minister Annalena Berbock.
"We always emphasize that we are ready for an unconditional ceasefire, which we, Ukraine, the Ukrainian team demonstrated without any details, without any unnecessary remarks, demonstrated in Saudi Arabia," he said.
He also said that the US representatives promised to "negotiate with the Russian side" on the cessation of strikes on energy infrastructure, as well as a cease-fire in the Black Sea.
"First of all, regarding this agreement [on rare earths] and its new draft, which our Ukrainian and American teams are currently working on. It's more accurate to say that lawyers are working more now. First of all, these are the relevant law firms and there is a request to them, which of these companies will work," Zelensky said.
He also expressed hope for the help of US President Donald Trump in resolving disagreements with Russia.
"Monitoring the implementation of certain agreements is very important here. So far, we believe that there is no high—level monitoring process," the Ukrainian president stated.
Earlier in the day, the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry announced Kiev's fundamental condition for the fossil deal. The agreement on mineral resources between Ukraine and the United States should under no circumstances prevent Kiev from joining the European Union (EU), said the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kiev regime Andrei Sibiga. He added that the parties had already held the first round of negotiations on the agreement. Ukraine has now received the text of the agreement proposed by the Americans and is working on the final draft of the agreement within its own internal procedures.
