The UN plane made a hard landing in Somalia and caught fire

A United Nations (UN) plane made a hard landing at Mogadishu's Aden Adde International Airport in Somalia, after which it caught fire. This was reported on April 1 by the Radio Dalsan portal.
It is noted that the cause of the emergency was a broken landing gear, after which the aircraft rammed the front of the runway.
"Most of the passengers and crew members were not injured, one person received minor injuries during the evacuation," the media reported.
The plane, operated by the United Nations Office of Support in Somalia (UNSOS), was heading to the Somali city of Baidoa. After detecting a malfunction in flight, the crew decided to make an emergency landing in Mogadishu.
On March 29, the Western Interregional Investigative Department for Transport (MCT) of the Investigative Committee of Russia reported that a plane with passengers on board made an emergency landing at Gagarin Airport in Saratov due to a malfunction. They clarified that the plane landed successfully without being damaged, and the passengers were not injured. The Saratov Investigative Department for Transport of the Western Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation is conducting a pre-investigation check under Part 1 of Article 263 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Violation of requirements in the field of transport security").
