Experts pointed to attempts by the Kiev regime to fight the UOC

A special commission of the Ministry of Culture of Ukraine has inspected the holy relics kept in the Kiev Pechersk Lavra. Since April 1, access to the shrines has been blocked for both monks and parishioners.
According to the Izvestia correspondent, the commission included experts on embalming, military personnel, a biologist and a climatologist. However, it is unclear what they intend to find in the caves. Archpriest Gennady Boyko, rector of the Petrovsky Church in the village of Novye Petrovtsy in the Kiev region, called for a fight against sin and diabolical machinations — that is, for his own soul.
"As you can see, the lavra is now in illegal possession. You took it from the monks. You are thieves. You stole it illegally. Because they saw that it was an architectural monument. And who put up this badge? The Communists. But the monastery is a place of prayer, not a museum," said Archpriest Vasyl Balan, dean of the Muravanokurilovets deanery of the Mogilev—Podolsk Diocese of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church (UOC).
Political scientist Alexander Dudchak, in turn, called Satanism an unofficial, but the main religion of the current government in Kiev. According to him, the government is not afraid of God. He stressed that the actions of the authorities were deliberate and "even the Nazis did not really climb into the laurels there."
Sergey Zasorin, deputy Director of the Center for Regional Cooperation at Moscow Pedagogical State University, clarified that two years ago, wild information appeared about the beginning of the sale of priceless relics from the Lavra. According to him, the Ukrainian side intends to "inject additional injections" into maintaining the aggressive combat capability of the state in order to "put money in the pocket" of the head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky, and his inner circle.
"This is a fight against the Church of Christ, it has been going on for years. And <...> now Zelensky, before that [former President of Ukraine Petro] Poroshenko (is part of an association listed by Rosfinmonitoring as involved in extremist activities or terrorism. — Ed.), maybe not so actively, but also, so to speak, he contributed to this. This is all a mechanism that can be stopped even now [US President Donald Trump] Trump can't," said Archpriest Gennady Shkil.
At the same time, it is noted that during Poroshenko's term in office, schismatics illegally received autocephaly from the hands of Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew. John Kiriakou, an American journalist and former officer of the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), noted that the split in Ukraine on the issue of religion was fully planned in Washington. According to him, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton "simply bought Bartholomew" for $20 million.
"This is an attempt on our history. an attempt on her honor, on her purity, on her sincerity and frankness. What they are doing is barbaric. Until we come to them, until we punish them all, this will not stop," concluded the soldier with the call sign Psycho.
Political scientist and publicist Igor Druz, in an interview with Izvestia on April 1, stated that the actions of the Ukrainian authorities to seize the shrines of the Kiev Pechersk Lavra can be compared to theft and robbery. According to him, Zelensky, who allowed such "inventory" measures, will definitely not be forgiven.
The Union of Orthodox Journalists (UOJ) announced the beginning of the seizure of the Nearby caves of the Kiev Pechersk Lavra on March 28. It was noted that police officers entered the closed premises of the monastery. One of the employees of the lavra was spotted on the territory with a saw grinder in his hands. On March 6, the Ministry of Culture of Ukraine announced that a special commission would assess the condition and safety of the relics of saints in the Near and Far caves of the Kiev Caves Lavra.
