Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and his counterpart from the People's Republic of China (PRC) Wang Yi discussed at the meeting the schedule of bilateral contacts at the highest and highest levels and the Ukrainian crisis. This was announced by the Russian Foreign Ministry on April 1.

The ministry clarified that the ministers also discussed new security risks in the Asia-Pacific region.

Lavrov and Wang Yi also exchanged views on the settlement of the conflict in Ukraine. According to the Russian Foreign Ministry, the parties noted the need to eliminate the root causes of the crisis.
