Three car brands lowered car prices in Russia in the second half of March

Prices for new cars for the period from March 16 to March 31 changed only for three car brands among those that are officially represented on the Russian market. This was reported on April 1 by the analytical agency Autostat.
Thus, the Russian-built electric sedan Evolve i-Pro now costs 2.49 million rubles after a price reduction of 360 thousand rubles (-12.6%). The St. Petersburg brand Solaris has reduced the price of the Solaris KRX Prestige cross-hatchback by 18 thousand rubles or 0.7% (up to 2.45 million rubles).
Two models of the Chinese brand Exeed fell in price — the VX crossover lost 350 thousand rubles (minus 5.4 — 5.6%), and the RX in the top version of the Flagship — 100 thousand rubles (-1.8%). Now the first one costs 5.94-6.14 million rubles, and the second one — 5.39 million rubles.
At the same time, in the first half of March, car prices changed for 11 brands at once: BAIC, Dongfeng, GAC, Evolve, Lada, Exeed, Soueast, JAC and Belgee, Geely and Knewstar.
On the eve of the State Duma Speaker Vyacheslav Volodin said that the bill banning the imposition of additional services on customers, including in car dealerships, will be considered this week as a matter of priority. The draft law is designed to protect citizens from excessive spending, as well as to stop attempts at manipulation and coercion to make unnecessary and unprofitable purchases, he noted.
