The Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) will receive more than 150 million rubles in 2025 for the implementation of the national Environmental well-being project in the region. This was announced on April 1 by the press service of Russian Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Patrushev following a working meeting with the head of the DPR Denis Pushilin.
It is noted that during the meeting, the parties summed up the results of the implementation of the national project "Ecology" in the region and discussed the readiness to implement the new national project "Environmental well-being".
"According to the new national project "Environmental well-being" for 2025, it is planned to allocate more than 150 million rubles for the region. Four federal projects will be implemented in the DPR: General Cleaning, Closed—loop Economy, Russian Water, and Forest Conservation.
In addition, preparations for the current year's sowing campaign were discussed during the meeting. Pushilin said that livestock production is growing in the agricultural sector in the region. In 2024, milk production increased relative to the previous year and reached more than 48 thousand tons.
Earlier, on March 24, Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin said that Russian regions would be able to receive subsidies for the creation of sewage treatment plants near Lake Baikal as part of the national project "Environmental Well-being". This measure will affect Buryatia and the Irkutsk region.
