- Ex-US intelligence officer predicted Washington's agreement to all Russia's conditions on Ukraine

The American authorities will agree to most, if not all, of the Russian conditions that Moscow will offer in order for the conflict in Ukraine to end. This assumption was made on April 1 by former American intelligence officer and analyst Scott Ritter.
"This is bad news for Europe and bad news for Ukraine: the United States is not going to agree to most, if not all, of Russia's conditions," he said during a conversation with the Dialogue Works YouTube channel.
Ritter noted that Washington would come to such a decision on its own, based on the realities at the front. The expert stressed that the President of Ukraine, Vladimir Zelensky, has no opportunity to argue with the White House.
He also added that the United States will have the last word from the West regarding Ukraine, since it was Washington that forced Kiev and Brussels to "play this game."
Russian President Vladimir Putin said on March 27 that the strategic initiative along the entire front line in Ukraine is entirely in the hands of the Russian Armed Forces. Putin also added that his American counterpart Donald Trump is really striving to end the conflict in Ukraine. Commenting on the negotiations between Russia and the United States, the head of state noted that the conflict in Ukraine requires a thorough discussion of the approach, and the Russian side, in turn, seeks to resolve all these issues by peaceful means.
