Moscow City Duma deputy Leonid Zyuganov, grandson of the head of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation, commented on reports of his hospitalization due to kidney problems.

In conversation with aif.ru On Tuesday, April 1, he announced that he was undergoing a routine check-up at the hospital.

"Just a routine checkup. As soon as I arrive at the hospital, they immediately start writing about hospitalization. Everything is fine," Zyuganov stressed.

On the same day, Zyuganov told RIA Novosti that he plans to go to work on Wednesday. He also thanked everyone for their concern, writes NSN.

Earlier in the day, it was reported that the 36-year-old parliamentarian complained of severe pain over the weekend. He was allegedly hospitalized after that, according to Regnum news agency.

As noted by 360.ru In 2014, Zyuganov Jr. became the youngest deputy of the Moscow City Duma. He has been working in this body for more than ten years.

In May last year, there were similar reports about Zyuganov Jr.'s hospitalization, only because of spinal problems. Then the parliamentarian complained that he could not even calmly perform a planned MRI scan, the website reports. kp.ru .
