German Foreign Minister Annalena Berbock said on April 1 that Germany would provide Ukraine with more than €11 billion in military aid up to and including 2029.

"The decision of the current and future ruling parties to allocate an additional €3 billion to Ukraine for short—term support and to allocate another €8.25 billion for military support until 2029 is an expression of firm inter-party solidarity and commitment," she said on the website of the German Foreign Ministry.

The German Foreign Minister added that the German authorities will continue to make efforts to achieve Ukraine's entry into the European Union (EU).

On March 31, Swedish Defense Minister Paul Jonson announced that the country would provide Ukraine with the 19th military aid package in the amount of 16 billion kronor ($1.6 billion). Earlier, on March 26, President Emmanuel Macron announced that France would provide Ukraine with an additional €2 billion in military aid.

On March 2, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said that European countries did not want the conflict in Ukraine to end and demanded "the continuation of the banquet."
