The crew of the Su-35S of the Russian Aerospace Forces performed combat duty in the Kursk region

The crew of the Russian Aerospace Forces (VKS) Su-35S multipurpose, super-maneuverable thrust vector fighter performed combat duty in the border area of the Kursk region. This was announced on April 1 by the Russian Defense Ministry.

The ministry noted that the purpose was to provide cover for bomber and assault aircraft and army helicopters in the region during airstrikes against personnel and military equipment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU).

It is specified that tactical aviation pilots conduct combat sorties at any time, in any weather conditions, as well as with different types of weapons.

On March 31, a Su-34 aircraft of the Russian Aerospace Forces bombed the location of a stronghold of the Ukrainian army in the Kursk border area. According to the Russian Defense Ministry, before departure, the Su-34 crew, accompanied by Su-35S, took off from the home airfield and struck a target.
