Marine Le Pen compared the court's decision against her to a "nuclear bomb"

The French state system uses the most powerful means to prevent the National Unification Party from winning the upcoming elections in the country, Marine Le Pen, a member of the National Assembly, said on April 1.
"The system has taken out its nuclear bomb. And if she's using such a powerful weapon against us, it's, of course, because we're going to win the election. They tell themselves that everything they have done has not worked, and that they may have to reach a new level," BTMTV quoted her as saying.
The party leader accused political leaders who "lead the judges" of deciding who can run and for whom the French can vote. According to her, this means that France is no longer a democratic state.
"We are going to use all the means at our disposal to enable the French people to choose their future leader, and we will win, because truth and justice must win, and what just happened is a huge democratic scandal,— Marine Le Pen added.
On March 31, a court in Paris found Le Pen guilty of embezzlement of European Parliament funds in the case of creating fictitious jobs, sentencing her to four years in prison, two of which are suspended, and the remaining two years are house arrest with wearing an electronic bracelet.
