Sales of a crossover with a drone on the roof have begun in China

The BYD concern has launched sales of a new Leopard Titanium 3 crossover in China, which is equipped with a rooftop drone, according to the local Autohome portal. The price of the model starts from 139.8 thousand yuan (1.6 million rubles in translation)

The top-end modification of the crossover, which includes a drone, will cost 203.8 thousand yuan. The development of the Air 3S drone system was carried out jointly with DJI. The drone's functionality is integrated into the vehicle's multimedia system.

The gadget can be used for mobile aerial reconnaissance, taking photos and videos with it. The quadcopter can automatically take off from the roof deck and return back at speeds up to 25 km/h, as well as follow the car at speeds up to 54 km/h.

The length of the Leopard Titanium 3 is 4605 mm with a wheelbase of 2745 mm. The twin-engine all-wheel drive system produces 422 hp, allows you to accelerate from zero to "hundreds" in 4.9 seconds and accelerate to 201 km/h. The range of the CLTC cycle reaches 501 km.

Earlier in the day, it was reported that Hongqi introduced a Guoyue hybrid bus in China, which is capable of traveling up to 900 km without refueling or recharging. In the next three years, it is planned to place more than 1,000 such buses at the largest airports in China.
