A famous music teacher died when a car fell from a parking lot in Moscow.


Natalia Boitsova, a teacher at the Gnessin Russian Academy of Music, was killed when a car fell from a multi-level parking lot in western Moscow. The news of her death appeared on the school's website on April 1.
"The rector's office of the Gnessin Russian Academy of Music and the administration of the Gnessin Music College regret to inform you that on March 31, 2025, the head of the Department of Music Theory, Natalia Valentinovna Boytsova, a teacher at the school, tragically died in an accident," the statement said.
It is noted that she taught at the college for more than 40 years, and since 1996 she has been the head of the Music Theory department. Information about the place and time of the farewell to the musicologist will be announced later, the Gnesinka press service concluded.
A source told Izvestia about the car falling from the parking lot the night before. According to him, after the fall, the car caught fire.
