In Russia, there is an increase in the number of activists who post stories on their social networks about their parents who went through the Great Patriotic War (WWII). This was stated by Alexander Burov, head of the Scientific Regiment project at the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation, at the Izvestia press center at the press conference "On the 80th anniversary of Victory: the patriotic action Scientific Regiment on April 1.

"Today we are seeing an increase in the number of activists who post stories on their social networks about their parents and teachers who went through the Great Patriotic War," he said.

In turn, Olga Petrova, Deputy Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation, stressed that this topic is so important that there is not a single person who does not understand the significance and essence.

"Modern students remember, honor, are proud of, and carry this cultural code of ours. There are no students who do not clearly comprehend the significance of this event," she added.
