The summer veranda season has begun in Moscow

The summer veranda season has begun in Moscow. This was announced by the press service of the Department of Trade and Services of the capital on Monday, April 1.
"Today, the city's accommodation scheme includes over 4,000 seasonal facilities, more than 900 of which are ready to receive guests," the Moscow City News Agency quoted the message as saying.
The ministry noted that starting from April 1, restaurateurs will be able to install certain types of verandas on a notification basis, RT reports. It is not necessary to coordinate the design of an architectural and artistic solution, which does not provide for the installation of structures and equipment, RIAMO clarifies.
In addition, such verandas should be adjacent to the establishment or stand at a distance of no more than 5 m from it, NSN reports.
The mandatory conditions include placing only tables, chairs, umbrellas and compact floral elements on them, writes Moscow 24.
"At the same time, the height of umbrellas should not be higher than the ground floor of the establishment, and furniture should be used only for industrial production," the department explained.
Projects of verandas with complex equipment — pergolas, decorative fences, lighting and heating devices — still need to be coordinated.
On March 27, the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Moscow region said that from the beginning of April, under favorable weather conditions, owners of public catering facilities can place their first visitors on summer verandas. 360.ru .
