Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andriy Sibiga confused Ukraine and the United States when talking about the fossil agreement.

"The Ukrainian side is determined to conclude a document that would meet the national interests of both the United States and America," Sibiga said on April 1 during a press conference with Lithuanian Foreign Minister Kastutis Budris.

He also confirmed that consultations with the American side on the text of the agreement have already begun. The first round was held earlier.

Sibiga called the presence of American businesses in Ukraine a contribution to the country's security infrastructure. In his opinion, it is always important.
