The court rejected the request for Hutsul's arrest in the second criminal case.

The court rejected the request for the arrest of the head of the Gagauz Autonomy Yevgenia Hutsul in the second criminal case. The resolution attests to this on April 1.
Hutsul was detained at the Chisinau airport on March 25. According to the Moldovan Prosecutor General's Office, this happened after her name was found on the list of persons prohibited from leaving the country.
On March 28, the head of Gagauzia was arrested for 20 days. This period turned out to be 10 days less than the prosecutors had requested. After that, the Pobeda political bloc announced that the decision to extend Hutsul's arrest would be protested by the defense in the Chisinau Appeals Chamber.
