Hongqi showed the Guoyue bus with a power reserve of 900 km

Hongqi has introduced the Guoyue hybrid bus in China, which is capable of traveling up to 900 km without refueling or recharging. In the next three years, it is planned to place more than 1,000 such buses at the largest airports in China, the manufacturer said in a statement received by Izvestia on April 1.

Hongqi Guoyue received a two-liter gasoline engine and two electric motors. With clean electricity, the bus can travel up to 104 km. The full range of the car reaches 900 km, fast charging allows you to replenish the energy reserve from 30% to 80% in 15 minutes. The traction characteristics of the power plant are not specified. At the same time, since last year, a pure gasoline version of Guoyue has already been sold in China, which is equipped with a three-liter V6 turbo engine with a capacity of 292 hp (420 Nm).

The Guoyue cabin is 5.4 m long, 1.9 m wide and 1.9 m high. The model is offered in versions with 17 and 19 seats, which makes it possible to adapt the bus to various scenarios — from business trips and meetings of high-ranking guests to tourist routes, the company noted. The cabin has adjustable office desks, folding TVs, wireless charging for gadgets and luggage racks.

The price of the model in China starts from 706.8 thousand yuan (about 8.2 million rubles in translation). It is not specified whether it is planned to bring the model to the Russian market.

On March 4, Hongqi announced the launch of sales in Russia of the premium minivan HQ9 and shared its technical characteristics. The car will be offered in Russia with a two-liter turbo engine with a capacity of 245 hp (380 Nm) with a 48-volt electrical system and a classic eight-speed automatic transmission.
