A motorhome based on Gazelle was introduced in Russia

The Modern Transport Technologies company presented a motorhome project based on the Gazelle Next production car. She shared details about the new product with Izvestia on April 1. The new product was developed jointly with the Russian company Akross, which specializes in upgrading standard chassis for motorhomes.
An all-metal Gazelle Next van with a 3745 mm wheelbase was chosen as the basis. The living module is fully mounted inside the body of the van and is designed to accommodate four travelers. It is equipped with a kitchen with an induction hob, refrigerator and sink (microwave is optional).
There is a full bathroom with a bio toilet, heating and air conditioning system. Energy independence is provided by a generator and two gel batteries, solar panels are installed on the roof for additional recharging. All engineering systems are controlled from a single console.
The driver's seat and the front passenger's seat are equipped with rotary mechanisms. The dining table is set in front of the seats equipped with seat belts. The sleeping compartment has four beds that transform into bunk beds measuring 140 by 180 cm. Luggage compartments are provided in the lower part of the sleeping shelves. In the aft part of the camper, the space is reserved for niches for folding picnic chairs. The motorhome is also equipped with an external retractable awning with a mechanical drive.
A 150 hp G 2.5 diesel engine is installed under the hood, which is paired with a five-speed manual transmission. An air suspension is used at the rear.
On March 28, the Valdai 12 bonnetless truck was presented in Russia in a new modification, and a compact model of a combined road vehicle (KDM) was built on its chassis. In winter, the car is used to remove snow and ice chips, treat surfaces with anti-icing reagents, and fill icy areas with sand.
On March 20, production of the new Valdai 18 bonnetless truck started in Nizhny Novgorod. It is designed for short- and medium-haul transportation, public utilities, and solving various economic and business tasks in an urban environment.
