A high-alert regime has been lifted in Severomorsk, Murmansk Region. It operated from October 14, 2024 to April 1, 2025 due to the need for emergency restoration work on the water and heat supply networks in residential buildings. 179 houses were left without management, which were serviced by a group of management companies.

The head of Severomorsk, Vladimir Evmenkov, said in his Telegram channel that the issues were resolved manually. The situation has now stabilized.

From Tuesday, April 1, other criminal codes will appear in three more houses in Severomorsk. In total, since October last year, new criminal codes have already been operating in 169 houses.

Bi-port news agency clarifies that in the fall of 2024, Severomorsk houses were without heating. According to Oleg Prasov, the head of the department at the time, this happened, among other things, due to the loss of valves from risers in the basements. He blamed the Management Company group for the failure of the start of the heating season. On October 12, Prasov resigned from the post of head of the Communist Party, and Vladimir Evmenkov took his place.

In mid-March 2023, a massive shutdown of heating and hot water supply was registered in Severomorsk. 66 residential buildings on Engineering, Padorin, Sizov, Severnaya, Sovetskaya, Kovalev, Polyarnaya and Chabanenko streets were left without supplies. In addition, there was no hot water or heating in two kindergartens, a school and a gymnasium. The reason for the shutdown was a utility accident.
