Visits to forests were temporarily restricted in the Trans-Baikal Territory

In the Trans-Baikal Territory, visits to forest areas for citizens were temporarily restricted. The area of wildfires exceeded the figures for 2024.

From March 31 to April 20, restrictions apply in Akshinsky, Alexandrovsko-Zavodsky, Baleysky, Kyrinsky, Ononsky and Tungokochensky forest districts. The ChitaMedia news agency writes about this. From April 14 to May 4, restrictions will apply in Argunsky, Aginsky, Alexandrovsko-Zavodsky, Baleysky, Beklemishevsky, Badinsky, Verkhne-Chita, Gazimuro-Zavodsky, Duldurginsky, Ingodinsky, Krasnochikoysky, Karymsky, Nerchinsky, Olenguysky, Petrovsk-Zabaikalsky, Sretensky, Khiloksky, Chernyshevsky and Chita districts.

As of April 1, 173 landscape fires were registered in the region, including 25 forest fires. The number of fires has decreased compared to 2024, but their total area has increased. Increased wind contributes to the spread of fire.
