In St. Petersburg, the vipers began to come out of hibernation. Dangerous reptiles can be seen, in particular, in the Yuntolovsky nature Reserve.

Photographer Anton Kubyshkin shared his observations in the group "Mushrooms and mushroom pickers of St. Petersburg". According to him, due to the onset of warm weather, a lot of vipers came out. They bask in the sun, try to leave in case of danger, but they can also attack if the situation is hopeless.

Experts advise that children and dogs should be especially closely monitored during walks, as they can provoke an attack by venomous snakes.

78 TV channel notes that usually wintering in vipers begins from October-November and lasts until March-April. Their bite is considered potentially dangerous for humans, but death is extremely rare. However, it can cause a severe allergic reaction in some people. The bite is also dangerous for people with heart disease.

On March 10, the Ministry of Health of the Moscow region warned that snakes were already emerging from hibernation, so summer residents and lovers of walking in the forest could face unpleasant surprises. There are three types of snakes in the Moscow region: copperheads, grass snakes and vipers. A meeting with a viper poses a real danger to humans.
