In St. Petersburg, a transformer garden will be set up on St. Isaac's Square for the third time this summer. The City Committee on Urban Planning and Architecture did not comment on the project, which was presented by the Center for Integrated Landscaping.

For the first time, the green area opposite the Mariinsky Palace was equipped in the spring of 2023. The tradition was continued last year, the 78 TV channel notes.

The garden will be divided into six sections. Linden trees, thuja trees and maples will appear in the tubs. There will also be flowers such as roses, lavender, rhododendrons, boxwood and hydrangea. Benches and urns will be installed on the square. Residents of the city and its guests will be able to admire the plants until autumn.

In the middle of last week, gardens, parks and squares were closed in St. Petersburg for the traditional spring drying. This is necessary to restore landscaping elements after heavy snowmelt. The city on the Neva has some climatic and hydrological features, so the soil needs a short period to recover from winter.
