Pregnant schoolgirls and female students in the Kemerovo region will be able to receive a one-time payment of 100 thousand rubles. The relevant resolution was published on April 1 on the website of the regional government.

The document clarifies that the payment will be valid for school students, female students of colleges and universities studying full-time. You can apply if you are at least 22 weeks pregnant.

The amount of the payment is 100 thousand rubles, but it is not provided to those who have already received similar support in another region.

Earlier, on March 20, a decree was signed in the Orel region on a one-time payment of 100 thousand rubles for pregnant schoolgirls when registering. In the wording of the previous decree, the monetary payment was due only to pregnant women studying in professional educational organizations and educational institutions of higher education.

On March 11, Chairman of the Federation Council Valentina Matvienko instructed the Committee on Science and Education to prepare a bill that would include a set of mandatory measures to support student families. She noted that when a young married couple has a child, they can be provided with a dorm room or transfer a student from a paid to a budget education. She also added that the Ministry of Labor has proposed a good initiative — maternity benefits for female students, such benefits should increase 10 times.
