Finland should prepare to restore relations with Russia. This was announced by President Alexander Stubb at a press conference on April 1.

According to the Finnish leader, it is impossible to deny the fact that Russia is Finland's neighbor and always will be.

"Finland must mentally prepare for the fact that political relations with Russia will become more open at some point, although the exact date is unknown," Stubb said, as quoted by Suomenmaa.

He also stressed that the restoration of Russian-Finnish relations would depend on the end of the conflict in Ukraine.
