The number of victims of a fire on a gas pipeline in the Malaysian city of Subang Jaya has grown to 112 people. This was reported on April 1 by the Malay Mail news portal, citing police data.

"Currently, there are 49 people in the Sri Maha Kaliamman temple, which has been identified as a medical base," the newspaper quoted the deputy chief of police as saying.

It is reported that a total of 63 people needed hospitalization. 47 houses in the city were also damaged by the fire.

Earlier on April 1, it was reported that a fire broke out on a gas pipeline in the city of Subang Jaya. The fire spread to nearby houses, so local residents had to be evacuated.
