An outburst of the penultimate power class M occurred on the Sun. This was reported on April 1 on the website of the Fedorov Institute of Applied Geophysics.

"In the X—ray range, an M5.6 flare was detected in the group of spots 4046 (N02E29)," they noted.

It is specified that a powerful flash lasting 16 minutes was recorded on Tuesday, at 9:46 Moscow time.
