On April 1, the Gosuslugi portal will launch a service that allows Russians to check all SIM cards issued on them. This was reported in the press service of the Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation.

"On April 1, at 20:00, the Sim card service will be available to users of Gosuslug," the department's Telegram channel says.

It is noted that such measures will make sure that the user does not have so-called "gray" or unregistered SIM cards that can be taken over by fraudsters. In addition, according to the rules of the service, operators will not be able to issue more than 20 SIM cards to Russians and more than 10 to foreign citizens.

At the same time, if the limit is exceeded, it is necessary to discard unnecessary SIM cards before November 1 of this year. While foreigners were refused measures introduced before July 1, so that intruders could not issue cards for mass calls. Also, when connecting the service, you can block unnecessary, suspicious SIM cards or completely suspend their service.

Earlier, on March 27, it was reported that a self-locking service for remote registration of SIM cards for citizens could be launched on the Gosuslugi portal in the spring of 2026.
