"I'm sure of it. This is a strong alliance," Kallas said.

She also stressed that China would be the only winner in a potential trade war between the NATO allies. At the moment, according to the head of the European Diplomacy, the alliance is "alive and thriving."

A day earlier, it was reported that US Secretary of State Marco Rubio will take part in a meeting of NATO foreign ministers to be held in Brussels on April 2-4.
