Callas expressed confidence in NATO's ability to "survive" Trump's mandate.

NATO will "outlive" the presidency of American leader Donald Trump. This was stated by the head of the European Diplomacy, Kaya Kallas, in an interview with the newspaper El Mundo.
"I'm sure of it. This is a strong alliance," Kallas said.
She also stressed that China would be the only winner in a potential trade war between the NATO allies. At the moment, according to the head of the European Diplomacy, the alliance is "alive and thriving."
A day earlier, it was reported that US Secretary of State Marco Rubio will take part in a meeting of NATO foreign ministers to be held in Brussels on April 2-4. It was clarified that the meeting would discuss the alliance's security priorities, including increasing defense spending and "ensuring lasting peace in Ukraine."
On the same day, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov said that the Trump administration's rhetoric about the country's possible withdrawal from NATO was only intended to "spur" the bloc's members and was unlikely to become reality.
