In Kuzbass, the director of an advertising company will appear in court in a bribery case

The Investigative Committee (IC) has completed the investigation of a criminal case against the director of an advertising company accused of paying a bribe of more than 1.5 million rubles. This was announced on Monday, April 1, by the Main Investigative Department (GSU) of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the region.

"The investigation of the criminal case against the director of the advertising company has been completed. He is accused of committing a crime under Part 5 of Article 291 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Giving a bribe to an official on an especially large scale")," follows from the publication of the department in Telegram.

As indicated, from September 2020 to June 2023, the defendant regularly transferred funds to the Deputy General Director of Kemerovo Electric Transport Company JSC in order to ensure timely advertising on trolleybuses of the electric transport company. The total amount of the bribe exceeded 1.5 million rubles, the Investigative Committee clarified.

It is noted that the attacker cooperated with the investigation.

The property of the accused was seized in the amount of more than 5 million rubles.

The criminal case with the approved indictment has been sent to the court for further consideration.
