- By the end of May, the participants of the Talents competition will complete internships in Moscow theaters.

In April, a new stage of the All-Russian open competition for the formation of a talent reserve in Moscow theaters "Talents" begins. This was announced on Tuesday, April 1, on the portal of the mayor of the capital, Sergei Sobyanin.
"20 leading Moscow theaters are ready to host the participants of the Talents competition as part of the educational and project stage. Starting this month, the contestants who have been selected by the expert council will train at them and at the same time improve their skills on the basis of GITIS," said Alexey Fursin, head of the Moscow Department of Culture.
As part of the educational and project stage, the contestants will have the opportunity to complete an internship in the theaters of the capital and work with mentors from among famous cultural figures. As a result, they will have a chance to create their own projects to be implemented at existing theater venues in Moscow.
The competition started on January 23rd. About 400 people from 46 regions of Russia applied for participation, and 40 of the most promising candidates were selected.
The best contestants will have the opportunity to become artistic directors or directors of Moscow theaters.
Earlier, on March 25, Sobyanin awarded Moscow cultural figures. The award ceremony was held on a professional holiday for employees of museums and theaters, libraries and parks, concert halls and art schools, and the film industry — enthusiastic and talented people who devoted their lives to creativity.
