American billionaire and entrepreneur Elon Musk paid a visit to the CIA, during which he discussed with representatives of the agency the work of the Department of State Efficiency (DOGE), of which he is the head. This was reported on April 1 by Axios.

"Musk, senior advisor to the President [of the United States Donald] Trump was received by CIA Director John Ratcliffe and Deputy Director Michael Ellis. A group of leading CIA personnel was also present at the meeting," the newspaper reports, citing the words of CIA Director of Public Relations Liz Lyons.

During the meeting, Musk informed the audience about the successes achieved by DOGE, as well as the "key conclusions" that he managed to draw. Technology was also one of the topics of discussion.

"Director Ratcliffe stressed during the meeting the importance of respecting taxpayers' money and ensuring that it is spent wisely and expediently on the CIA's mission to protect the United States of America," Lyons said.

On March 21, the US federal Court temporarily banned the Social Security Service from transferring access to confidential data of American citizens to the US Department of Public Safety (DOGE) of Elon Musk. Later, on March 23, it was reported that after just two months of Donald Trump's presidential term, the American leader is already fighting more than 150 lawsuits challenging his political decisions. In particular, large-scale dismissals of civil servants are also being challenged in the courts.
