The calculation of TOS-2 "Tosochka" destroyed the support of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Red Army direction

The TOS-2 Tosochka crew of the Center group of forces destroyed a stronghold of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the Red Army area of the special military operation zone. This was announced on April 1 by the press service of the Russian Ministry of Defense.

"After the report of the commander of the patrol, the TOS-2 Tosochka crew arrived at the firing position and fired a volley of shells at the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The targets were adjusted and monitored in real time by calculations of the group's unmanned aerial vehicles," the ministry said.

It is specified that the strike was carried out using thermobaric shells. The precise strike helped to provide support to the assault units, which at that moment were conducting offensive operations on the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

"Tosochki ammunition — 18 thermal shells create a temperature of thousands of degrees Celsius on an area of up to 6 hectares. A sharp pressure drop is created in the epicenter of the defeat," the Defense Ministry recalled.

On March 30, a Grad MLRS crew destroyed a Ukrainian transport with ammunition. The calculation disrupted the delivery of ammunition to enemy positions in the Donetsk direction, the ministry said. The destruction of the transport was recorded by drone operators.
