The Chinese Foreign Ministry announced the readiness of the Russian Federation and China to defend the results of the Second World War

Russia and China jointly intend to defend the results of the Second World War, as well as advocate for a fair interpretation of those events. This was announced on Tuesday, April 4, by the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People's Republic of China (PRC). Wang Yi.

"I am convinced that under the joint efforts of the [PRC] president Xi Jinping and President [of the Russian Federation Vladimir] "China and Russia will firmly develop a great friendship, promote a reliable interpretation of the history of the Second World War and defend its results," he said in an interview with RIA Novosti.

In addition, the diplomat noted that both powers intend to take bilateral relations "to new heights" and work on the development of the world order in a "rational direction."
