Trump announced plans to visit Saudi Arabia, Qatar and the UAE

US President Donald Trump on Monday, March 31, announced that he plans to pay an official visit to Saudi Arabia, Qatar and the United Arab Emirates and "other places" outside the Middle East in the coming weeks.
"This will happen next month or maybe a little later <...> As a result of this trip, a huge number of jobs will be created," Axios quoted Trump as saying.
The trip will be Trump's first official one since his inauguration. At the moment, two US officials have stated that Trump does not plan to visit Israel during this trip, the newspaper said.
Earlier, on March 30, the media reported that the first foreign trip after Trump's inauguration to Saudi Arabia would take place against the backdrop of the Trump administration's efforts to resume a cease-fire in the Gaza Strip and release hostages held by the Palestinian Hamas movement. A potential trip was discussed between senior officials from the United States and Saudi Arabia.
