- The White House avoided answering the question about the possibility of a third Trump term.

US President Donald Trump answers questions about his third term as head of state with a smile. On March 31, White House press Secretary Caroline Leavitt told reporters.
"You keep asking the president about a third term, he answers you sincerely and with a smile, and then everyone starts to get nervous," TASS quoted her as saying.
According to her, Trump has already "explained that he would not like to talk about it." Leavitt stressed that the US president has four years in which to do a lot of work.
"We have achieved a lot in the first almost 100 days, and people like it," she added.
On the eve of the NBC News channel published an interview with Trump, in which the president stated that he did not rule out the possibility of remaining in his chair. At the same time, the 22nd Amendment to the US Constitution prohibits the same person from holding the post of head of state for more than two terms.
In turn, political scientist Ivan Mezyuho, in an interview with Izvestia on March 31, said that the way to run for a third presidential term could be effective. He clarified that the scheme would work if US Vice President Jay Dee Vance agrees to voluntarily transfer the presidential mandate to him, as well as on condition of victory in the upcoming presidential elections.
