The administration of the Kola district of the Murmansk Region plans to improve the Teriberka center with federal funds, for which it is preparing to apply for the All-Russian competition of the Ministry of Construction of the Russian Federation to create a comfortable urban environment. This was reported to Bi-port news agency by the regional Ministry of Urban Planning and Landscaping.

Both employees of the local administration and the immediate Minsk city participate in the creation of the draft application for the competition. According to the agency, in case of victory, the village will receive up to 30 million rubles for landscaping.

The allocated funds will be used to transform public areas near Shkolnaya and Pionerskaya streets in the central part of Lodeynoye. The architects took into account the opinions and requests of local residents in the project, the ministry says.

According to Bi-port news agency, among the suggestions of local residents were the creation of a stage with protection from bad weather, the arrangement of bike paths and a sports playground, the decoration of the Walk of fame, the installation of art objects reflecting the nature of the Kola North, as well as landscaping and the creation of a place for a fair.

The Ministry notes that if the project does not receive approval at the All-Russian competition, then its implementation is possible with the involvement of investors.
