Two workers died in a potash mine in the Perm Region

In Berezniki, Perm Krai, two employees of Uralkali-Repair were killed while performing maintenance work at a potash mine. This was announced on March 31 by the governor of the region Dmitry Makhonin in his Telegram channel.

According to the governor, two workers were fatally injured during repairs at the BKPRU-4 mine.

It is specified that a commission has been established to investigate the causes of the accident.

Mahonin also expressed his condolences to the families of the deceased employees.

Earlier, on February 13, two people died as a result of a collapse in a potash mine in the city of Solikamsk, Perm Krai. The incident occurred at 10:00 (08:00 Moscow time) at the SKRU-3 mine during the inspection of the shaft. The employees died as a result of the detachment of a salt build-up from the support.
