The Red Army is fighting on the left bank of the Oder

The troops of the 1st Ukrainian Front captured important road junctions and strong German defense strongholds on the left bank of the Oder, the Izvestia newspaper reports on the successes in this direction.
There were exactly 38 days left until the Great Victory.
Soldiers took the cities of Ratibor and Biscay, in the battles for which the troops of Colonel-General Kurochkin, Major-General Goncharov, Major-General Zubov, Colonel Kazarinov and others distinguished themselves, Izvestia reports and publishes the order of the Supreme Commander-in-chief, according to which the formations and units most distinguished in these battles are presented for awarding orders.
