On April 6, a meeting of the Presidium of the Executive Committee of the Union of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies of the USSR was held in Moscow. It was attended by the chairman of the British committee of the Russian Relief Fund, Clementine Churchill, and the secretary of the committee, Johnson, Izvestia reports.

"In addition to the members of the presidium of the Executive Committee of the Union of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies of the USSR, the meeting was attended by a representative of the Union of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies of the USSR in London and the head of the Main Sanitary Directorate of the Red Army," Izvestia said.

There were exactly 33 days left until the Great Victory.

The material was published as part of the Izvestia special project "80 days to Victory."
