Al Hadath TV channel reported on March 17 that dozens of Yemeni Houthis from Ansar Allah were killed during US strikes on the territory of Hodeidah province, located in western Yemen. It was clarified that 53 people died, and about 100 more were injured.
On March 15, US President Donald Trump announced that he had ordered the US military to begin operations against the Yemeni Houthis. Soon, the central command of the US Armed Forces announced the launch of a large-scale operation in Yemen.
