The Ministry of Defense recalled the legal force of paper subpoenas

Paper summonses for military service are still legally binding. This was announced by the Russian Defense Ministry on March 31.
"We have not abandoned the printed summonses, they are still legally significant and will be sent by registered mail with notifications at the place of residence or stay of the conscript, or handed to him personally," the Telegram channel says.
Electronic summonses, in turn, will be sent to the personal accounts of Russian citizens on the Gosuslugi portal, and in the capital to the personal accounts of Russians on the official portal of the mayor and government of Moscow.
The ministry clarified that a special feature of the spring recruitment campaign is its passage using the state information system.
On March 31, Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a decree on spring conscription from April 1 to July 15. It provides for the conscription of Russian citizens aged 18 to 30 years. According to the text of the document, it is planned to call 160 thousand Russians.
