The Presidential Nature Foundation has started accepting applications for a grant competition

On March 31, the Presidential Foundation for Environmental and Environmental Projects began accepting applications for the first grant competition in its history. Both government and public organizations, as well as individuals, will be able to apply for a grant from the foundation.

The competition was organized on behalf of the head of state Vladimir Putin.

"The president's decision provides for a billion rubles for this year. On the one hand, the money is considerable, given the complexity of the budget today, on the other hand, it is clear that when this work is deployed, it will soon become insufficient," said Sergey Kiriyenko, First Deputy head of the Presidential Administration of the Russian Federation.

The projects under the grant must be completed within three years.

Putin signed a decree on the creation of the Fund for environmental and environmental protection projects on February 7. The goals of the organization are to support environmental projects, as well as to provide grants in the field of environmental protection and animal welfare. In addition, the foundation will provide support for charitable and volunteer activities in this area.
