Deputy Mayor of Moscow Sergunina spoke about the support of socially oriented NGOs

Since 2020, socially oriented non-profit organizations (NPOs) have received grants from the Mayor of Moscow for the implementation of 1,086 projects. This was told by Deputy Mayor of the capital Natalia Sergunina.

"Thanks to the city's support, NGOs held patriotic, local history and cultural events, youth meetings with engineers, entrepreneurs and representatives of other industries," the vice mayor noted.

Thus, as part of the "My country was raised by the Sky" initiative of the Aviatrice Union of Women in Flight Professions, young Muscovites are introduced to the profession of a pilot, the history of aviation and the exploits of the heroes of the Great Patriotic War.

A career guidance cycle "Friend and Mentor" was organized for the wards of the Gulfstream Charitable Foundation. Experts from various fields met with children and teenagers: information technology, gastronomy, electromechanics and psychology.

There are coworking centers for NGO representatives in all districts of the capital, where you can organize an event, order photo and video recordings, receive information support, and print printed products. Lectures, webinars and master classes are also held here as part of the NGO Lab educational program. Over the past five years, about 1.3 thousand classes have been held. Experts also give NGOs recommendations on team building, social media management and partner search, and provide advice on legal and accounting issues.

Within the framework of the City of Caring project, festivals are held to familiarize Muscovites with the work of NGOs, their wards and initiatives. During the entire event, more than 50 thousand people attended.
