In Sochi, a three-year-old boy died after falling from an apartment window on the fifth floor. This was announced on March 31 by the Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for the Krasnodar Territory in the Telegram channel.
According to the investigation, the child fell out of the window of the apartment, which was located on the fifth floor of the house in Rachmaninov Lane. The boy died of his injuries at the scene.
"Currently, the investigators of the Investigative Committee in the criminal case are conducting the necessary investigative actions aimed at establishing all the circumstances, as well as the causes and conditions that contributed to the incident," the report says.
It is specified that a criminal case was initiated on the grounds of a crime under Part 1 of Article 109 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Causing death by negligence").
Earlier in the day, it was reported that a three-year-old child fell from the second floor of a multi-storey building in Feodosia. He is currently in a serious condition in the hospital. According to law enforcement officials, the boy pulled a chair up to the window, climbed onto the sill and fell. At that time, the baby's mother was in the next room.
